Job Title: Classroom Teacher
STARTING Salary: £35 per hourÂ
1. Purpose of the job
To deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils who are assigned to the post holder.
2.Main duties
- Be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning of all pupils who are assigned to the post holder.
- To plan and teach effectively using a variety of strategies.
- To mark all work and provide appropriate feedback.
- To liaise with parents and to provide verbal feedback after each lesson.
- Supervise the work of any support staff, including higher level teaching assistants and support teachers, who may be assigned to work with the post holder’s pupils.
- To keep the Education Business Manager fully informed as to the progress of pupils in their classes.
